Summer Research Institutes

Working with the Mind & Life Institute, Still Point Design Studio designed a thematic progression of Program Books for their annual Summer Research Institute. The full sized book was accompanied by a smaller “pocket schedule” that fit into a name badge lanyard for easy reference at an event where internet access was greatly limited.

Summer Research Institutes

The goal was to develop a design based around each year’s complicated program theme. Still Point used nature, art, textiles, and mosaics to build visual metaphors that communicated and reflected the theme subtly to the attendee.

International Research Institute

The inaugural International Research Institute was held in Kyoto, Japan. The program book was bilingual in English and Japanese.
